An Evening with Megan Hilty

Stage and screen star Megan Hilty opened Broadway in Worcester’s 2024-2025 season in style. Just days before beginning rehearsals in Broadway’s highly anticipated musical comedy Death Becomes Her, Hilty performed a final concert entertaining audiences with selections from Wicked, 9 to 5: The Musical, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Smash.
Full of warmth, humor, and old-fashioned star appeal, Hilty won over audiences with both her triumphant Broadway belt and the intimacy of her ballads. We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off our season than with Megan Hilty blowing the roof off the BrickBox.

Kelli O'Hara, star of stage and screen, has established herself as one of Broadway's greatest leading ladies. With seven Tony Award nominations and a Tony Award win for her portrayal of Anna Leonowens in The King and I, Kelli has been hailed by The New York Times as “Broadway musical’s undisputed queen.”
Kelli’s other notable Broadway credits also include: Kiss Me, Kate, The Bridges of Madison County, Nice Work If You Can Get It, South Pacific, The Pajama Game, and The Light in the Piazza - performances all of which garnered her Tony nominations.
Broadway. Carnegie Hall. The Metropolitan Opera. And now Worcester. Kelli’s concerts enchanted Central MA audiences over two blissful performances.
An Evening with Chita Rivera and Seth Rudetsky

This unscripted evening featured the legendary Broadway icon Chita Rivera in intimate conversation and song alongside host and musical director Seth Rudetsky at the piano. Together they performed many of Rivera’s signature songs from her vast musical theatre repertoire. Ms. Rivera is perhaps best known for her now legendary roles of Anita in West Side Story, Rose in Bye Bye Birdie, and Velma in Chicago, among many others.
The evening was a seamless mixture of intimate and behind-the-scenes stories of Rivera’s career through insightful, funny and revealing questions posed by Rudetsky at the piano. An acclaimed actress, singer and dancer, Rivera has earned ten Tony nominations for her beloved Broadway roles, winning twice.
This spontaneous evening of hilarity and show-stopping songs was not to be missed.
