Five Questions with Eric Butler- Founder of Broadway in Worcester
April 4, 2023
Worcester native Eric Butler founded Broadway in Worcester in March 2022 and in just 10 months he has brought three of Broadway’s biggest names to Worcester.
Broadway in Worcester kicked off in March with An Evening with Tony Award Winner Laura Benanti which featured songs from Laura’s career (My Fair Lady, She Loves Me, and more) along with humorous anecdotes and experiences that she has encountered on and off the stage and screen. Laura and celebrated music director and accompanist Grammy Award winner Billy Stritch provided a sold-out Worcester audience with an unforgettable night.

Eric Butler Nurtures City’s Thriving Theater Scene
November 18, 2022 – For quite a while Broadway in Worcester has been giving its Facebook page a very Worcester theatrical look by having pictures of local personalities superimposed on Broadway shows, and pictures from Broadway shows superimposed on local settings and landmarks.
“Broadway In Worcester is a wonderful organization. I always enjoy talking with students and offering my advice whenever I can. The BrickBox Theatre is very versatile and both Seth Rudetsky and I had a ball performing in the space. It was a pleasure to work with Eric Butler.”
